Im sorry i wasnt there for you, when you were there for me no matter what. I miss you and i guess nothing feels right anymore without you. I always see your beautiful brown eyes whenever i close my eyes and its just not fair how I’m being teased with these images, yet i still wont be able to feel your warm soft hand on my face. We were still so young, yet we would always talk about having a family together when we both didn’t realize that we could eventually lose one another. But i didn’t take the time to actually appreciate you and what you’ve done for me. You were always there to keep me calm and help me get through every problems, but i couldn’t even be there for one moment. I took you for granted and I’m being punished for it. I lost control and when you left, you took part of me with you and now I’m lost trying to find my way back again. I know you want me to be happy, but how could i do that when i had everything slip through my fingers and is way out of my reach? You were my everything and nothing could ever change that, not one bit. If only i had the chance to go back for one moment, i would go back just to tell you that i love you and would’ve stayed with you. I was soo angry with you leaving me, when the truth is that I was the one who left… you were just the one that got away.
When is it worth it?
I’ve always wondered when it really is. Not if we are worth it. But the fights are a different story. Have you ever felt like taking a step back to think about what we’re fighting about? And why? More importantly, what we’re fighting for…
More often than not, it’s always about something so little and so insignificant that when I look back on it, I feel so foolish for even raising my voice at you. Come to think of it, I feel so foolish for getting into stupid little arguments about everything with you. I’m tired of it. Letting all these little things blind us from seeing the bigger picture. The one where you and I are together, and that’s all that should matter. That is what we should be fighting for. Because there is no doubt in my mind that our relationship is worth it.
